Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions:

Put the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a bowl

Thoroughly mix everything together until it's all well mixed

Split the mixture in half and shape each half into a burger patty

Set your grill to medium-high heat and oil the grate so that food doesn't stick

Put the burger patties on the grill and cook them for four to five minutes on each side for medium-rare to medium-doneness

You can change the cooking time to suit your tastes

Just before they're done, you can cover the grill and add slices of cheese on top of each patty

This will let the cheese melt

Take the patties off the grill and give them a minute or two to rest

Put the BBQ burger patties on buns and top them with your favorite veggies and sauces
