Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- 8 slices ham
- 4 slices dill pickles
- Yellow mustard, to taste
- Mayonnaise, to taste
- Butter, for toasting buns
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
Set your grill or griddle on the stove to medium-high heat to get it ready
Split the ground beef into 4 equal pieces and shape them into burger patties while the grill heats up
Add salt and pepper to each patty
The burger patties should be cooked for four to five minutes on each side, or until they're done the way you like them
Cover the grill and add a slice of Swiss cheese to each patty in the last minute of cooking
This will melt the cheese
Split the hamburger buns in half and spread a little butter inside each one while the burgers are cooking
On the grill, toast the buns until they get a little brown
Put together the Cuban burgers: Spread some yellow mustard and mayonnaise on the bottom half of each toasted bun
Add a burger patty and melt Swiss cheese on top of it
Put two ham slices and a dill pickle slice on top
Last, put the other half of the toasted bun on top
Enjoy your hot Cuban burgers with your favorite sides
