Quick Fix: Pork Chops w/ White Beans



A simple and delectable recipe for pork chops and white beans, ideal for a weeknight meal. Savory pork chops and filling white beans combine to make a gratifying and aromatic dish.

Ingredients:

  • 4 pork chops
  • 2 cans white beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions:

Add salt, pepper, and paprika to the pork chops' seasoning

Heat the olive oil in a big skillet over medium-high heat

Sear pork chops until golden brown, 34 minutes per side

Take out of the skillet and place aside

Saut the garlic and onions in the same skillet until they are tender

Stir in chicken broth, dried thyme, and drained white beans

Mix thoroughly

Back in the skillet with the beans nestled between them, place the seared pork chops

Once the beans are heated through and the pork chops are cooked through, simmer for 10 to 12 minutes

Modify the seasoning as needed

Serve the pork chops hot, with the beans spooned over them

If desired, garnish with fresh herbs
