Luigi Chandelier Wine Pairing



Enjoy a high-class meal of tender filet mignon with the beautiful Luigi Chandelier Wine Enthusiast. The beef tastes great with the rich wine flavors, and the balsamic reduction adds a sweet and sour touch.

Ingredients:

  • 1 bottle Luigi Chandelier with Corks Wine Enthusiast
  • 8 oz filet mignon
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions:

Preheat grill to medium-high heat

Brush filet mignon with olive oil and season with salt and pepper

Place on the grill along with rosemary sprigs

Cook for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare

In a small saucepan, combine balsamic vinegar and honey

Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook until reduced by half, about 5-7 minutes

Remove filet mignon from grill and let rest for a few minutes

Meanwhile, grill cherry tomatoes for 2-3 minutes until slightly charred

Slice filet mignon and arrange on a plate

Drizzle with balsamic reduction and garnish with grilled cherry tomatoes and chopped parsley

Serve alongside a glass of Luigi Chandelier with Corks Wine Enthusiast and enjoy!
